Villa Cipressi Hotel, a gorgeous historical residence, is located on the east side of Lake Como and is the perfect place to host your destination wedding. It has a beautiful mix of contemporary architecture and ancient gardens. Even if you are not getting married here, a visit to enjoy the botanical gardens and to have a drink on the terrace with an incredible view is an absolute must when visiting Lake Como.
With so much history surrounding the villa and Lake Como region, we drew inspiration from the villa’s architecture. Our vision with the event planning and design company WOW Wedding who are based in Lake Como was to create something deliciously colorful while keeping a minimal decor aesthetic. We wanted to take the most out of the color of the year, coral, and play with fun little pops of blue to mirror the colors of Lake Como and the beautiful venue, Villa Cipressi Hotel.
We loved showcasing two gowns from Rara Avis Group that are very different stylistically, but both fit like a glove for a classic and elegant celebration. Beauty by Korn created a stunning bridal look to go along with the dresses which was a mix of old world and modern romantic. Biba Merlo Calligraphy wowed us with the incredibly gorgeous paper goods that transformed you into another time in space, while SOli album created a one of a kind velvet album. WOW Wedding put everything together flawlessly to make this beautiful vision come to life.
